Hey Everyone!

 Although I entitled this section my story, this is ultimately God's story. Without him, I wouldn't even have a story to tell. To HIM be the glory.

 

My name is Grace DuBose and I am 25 years old. I am from Florence SC, and I graduated From the University of South Carolina with a major in theatre, and minor in broadcast/ communications. I have a passion for dancing, the arts and media. I have a heart for people, family, friends, children and most importantly for God. I value my faith and with that being said, I'd love to get into more details of my journey.

At just nine weeks old, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare blood vessel tumor called Kaposiform Hemangioendothelioma. I  had less than a 10 percent chance of living. However, by the grace of God, I survived. 

 

Later in life, at the young age of 23, having just finished college. I was diagnosed with another life threatening illness, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

 

Shortly after my cancer diagnosis, I came up with the idea of writing a book to share my experience and give hope to others. I was blessed to be able to share my book and story with sorority groups, children in hospitals and in schools.

My journey has been a blessing because it has not only allowed me to grow closer to God but it has allowed me to see my life and people in a whole new way.

​

I believe God wants to use my story as a testimony to him. I now dedicate my life to helping others and sharing God's word. I believe God is leading me to ministry and has given me a heart for people  of all kinds to connect with and relate to.
